Vintage necklace i bought on my trip to Nottingham.

VINTAGE !!!

 

I went shopping in Nottingham today with Milli to do some vintage shopping !! I ended up going to Wild Clothing and Vintage Cow. I managed to find three purchases ! In Wild clothing I bought a pair of high waisted levis vintage denim shorts and in Vintage Cow I bought a vintage blouse and knitted jumper. Vintage clothing isnt for everyone but i think its so unique and you can find amazing bargins !! clothing which was produced before the 1920s is referred to as antique clothing and clothing from the 1920s to 1960s is considered vintage. Retro, short for retrospective, or "vintage style" usually refers to clothing that imitates the style of a previous era.

£2,000 vs. £200

 Looking through the sales on the internet and i came across a pair of fantastic sparkly green platform heels (as shown on far right). These heels would be sure to bling up any evening wear ! These heels are from new look and are priced at just under £200 . I then found that Christian Louboutin had created a fall collection in 2011. These swarovski daffodile platform heels are very simular to the green heels i found on the New Look website. Dip Dye.

Dip Dye has been a large hair trend for a fair while now, many people have been dying the ends of their hair many different colours and i think it looks really nice for those with long hair. I really like this trend and after months of wanting to try it out on my own hair, i finally braved it and decided to dye the tips of my hair pink. Although you cant see it very well in this photograph its hot pink and is really vibrant. I think it looks really good, to make the most of this style i would probably create volumized waves which will create a softer look and tone down the vibrancy of the hot pink tips.

Pretty Presents.

For christmas this year i asked for some wacky clothes, so that i could mix and match things together to give me an edgy look against everyone else. I got a cream skirt from Topshop which i absolutely LOVE ! I also received a pair of stripy tights also from Topshop. I paired these together along with a plain black top from H&M and a pendant necklace that I got from a friend to give it a simple yet edgy look. I would probably wear a pair of military boots if i were to go out and a leather jacket to give it a punked up look.
